What began as a blank, uninspired space in an ex-NBA player’s home evolved—almost single-handedly—into a creative hub that redefined what’s possible for modern content production. Under Jigowatts’ leadership as Head of Production, every aspect of the studio’s design, workflow, and creative direction was meticulously developed to deliver world-class results.

Through this vision, Gil’s Arena grew from the ground up—going from zero to over 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, becoming one of the most successful athlete-driven shows online.
At Jigowatts, we pioneered a distinctive approach to content creation: blending affordable creator-grade tools with professional-level expertise to produce broadcast-quality results—all at a fraction of the cost and complexity of a traditional TV studio. This method not only redefines efficiency in production but also empowers creators to compete at the highest level.
Jigowatts brought deep technical expertise to every aspect of production—solving complex challenges with creativity and precision. When weak internet connectivity threatened to limit performance, we engineered a custom solution: installing a line-of-sight network that connected a dish atop Arenas’ property to another relay point four miles away, delivering reliable, high-speed fiber internet directly to the studio.
We also developed a custom seven-camera PTZ system, seamlessly integrating third-party components into a setup that could be operated remotely by a single person—achieving superior image quality at a fraction of the cost of traditional high-end systems.
To complete the ecosystem, Jigowatts implemented Dante-enabled audio networking across all studio equipment, ensuring crystal-clear sound, effortless routing, and scalable production flexibility.
Jigowatts also designed a dynamic and visually striking studio lighting system that proved innovation doesn’t require excess. By leveraging entry-level professional lighting products in a highly creative way, we produced results greater than the sum of their parts—a setup that was both functional and artistically defining.
The lighting not only became a powerful creative tool to enhance on-screen storytelling and content concepts, but it also helped establish the distinct tone and visual identity of the show. This attention to aesthetic and atmosphere played a key role in helping the series stand out from the crowd—ultimately becoming the #1 basketball show online.
This combination of technical ingenuity and efficient design showcases what defines Jigowatts: innovative thinking that turns limitations into groundbreaking production solutions.
