In 2020, Paolo Grassini collaborated with ESPN’s Joe Ferreti Director | Studio Design & Development to create a state of the art multimedia production studio capable of adapting to numerous and different shows’ needs.
The 260×140 sq. ft. space is equipped with (2) two “Window Video/Image Monitors”, (3) three Image Vertical Monitors, and (1) Rotating TV monitor for both horizontal and vertical video playback. Thanks to (4) four Panasonic 4K PTZ cameras, a Tricaster TV switcher, audio mixing board and (4) four Blackmagic HyperDeck SSD Deck, the studio is designed to be operated by 1-2 operators.
From linear TV to online streaming, the studio’s versatility allows for the creation of high quality content for multiple platforms at the same time; all while keeping resources at a minimum.
Grassini designed Studio 4’s concept for ESPN LA Production Center. In collaborating with Ferreti, Grassini oversaw studio vendors to male sure the final build supported all the needs from the production teams.
